Since May 1, 2026, Quantom has been a member of the Defense Cluster of the Lower Saxony Business Associations (UVN). The Lower Saxony Defense Cluster is a strategic platform for strengthening the defense and security industry in the region.
The initiative is supported by the state of Lower Saxony and aims to bring together companies in the security and defense industries, as well as defense-related suppliers, research institutions, and political stakeholders, to promote innovation projects, collaborations, access to funding, and more resilient supply chains.
To that end, members of the defense cluster meet regularly at various locations. Quantom was able to participate for the second time at the meeting on June 26, 2026, in Bad Laer. This time, the event was organized by TKT Kunststoff-Technik GmbH focused on Auto2Defence.
Especially for crisis-stricken companies in the automotive industry, the question arises as to what opportunities and challenges the defense sector offers for diversifying their product portfolios.
Hauke Schwartz, Head of Business Development at Quantom, was impressed:
